M. Ali Nervis

Ali is an entrepreneurial activist who previously worked in the financial services industry before leaving to focus on various business and community initiatives full-time. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Archwood Community Resource Empowerment Strategy (ACRES). He is also the owner of Grassrootz Books and Juice Bar and co-owner of Straw and Wool Hat Company. Ali serves as a Commissioner with the Central City Village Planning Committee where he provides guidance on a wide range of city-wide and local issues.
